Accomplishments:    Stanton was Former president of woman suffrage movement. She helped Susan B. Anthony and Matilda Joslyn Gage write the the first three volumes of History of Woman Suffrage (1881-86). She also wrote Eighty Years and More (1898).

Accomplishments: A significant leader of women’s suffrage movement. Founded the National Woman's Suffrage Association in 1869 with life-long friend Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Published the weekly paper for the women’s suffrage movement called “The Revolution” from 1868-1870. In 1890, helped find the National American Woman's Suffrage Association. Served as president until 1900.

Accomplishments: Had a significant role in the women suffrage movement as  a women suffrage activist and a prominent abolitionist. Especially known for keeping her last name after marrying Henry Blackwell, a reformer and editor.

Carrie Chapman Catt 

 Born: January 9, 1859

Birthplace: Ripon, Wisconsin

Accomplishments: A important individual who was a suffragist and the first president of the NAWSA. Her husband supported her throughout their lives together because their agreement was that he made a living and she tried to change society. She was also re-elected for the presidency of the NAWSA.  

Death: March 9, 1947
